Bluedio T2s Turbine wireless headphones review

Bluedio T2s Turbine is one the most popular headphones in its niche. By “niche” we mean wireless, full-sized headphones at a price of less than $50.
Headphones Bluedio T2s Turbine is a new model that should replace the popular Bluedio HT and Bluedio T2. The manufacturer took into account all the shortcomings of the previous models and corrected some of them.

Bluedio T2s Turbine

With a decent sound quality, Bluedio T2s Turbine has all that budget wireless headphones must have.
Bluedio T2s Turbine headphones are lightweight, almost entirely made of plastic. There are only metal inserts are at the length adjustment points of the headband and hinges for folding the headphones for transportation. The plastic itself in places of contact with the face is covered with artificial leather with perforations.
Intuitive and convenient four buttons on the right ear cup allow you easy to manage your music tracks.
The excellent battery allows you up to 40 hours of listening to music after 2-hour charging.

Bluetooth 4.1 allows you to provide easy connection and the stable signal at a distance of up to 10 m. For pairing, it is enough to hold down the power button after you switch of the headphones and when you find the device, attach it.
The most interesting thing is the sound. 2 dynamic speakers of 57 mm with a range of 20 Hz-20 kHz and sensitivity of 110 dB and impedance of 16 Ohm allow getting a quite good stereo sound unattainable with usual gags and headsets. The volume is such that it does not make sense to listen to it at the highest level. Bluedio T2s Turbine has great bass, and an important detail: there is an application from the manufacturer to adjust the equalizer of headphones from the laptop (PC).

Package and accessories

We get the headphones in the quality package that it is almost impossible to damage them during shipment. Double packing from a dense cardboard carefully protects the headphones from unnecessary deformations.
The bundle is not rich. There is no bag for storage or any other buns. Only headphones and large instruction, which we don’t need at all. Everything is intuitive, and it’s really hard to get confused by three buttons. There is also an audio cable with two 3.5 mm plugs and a micro USB cable with the adapter.

Design

Bluedio T2s Turbine headphones sit well on the head. Due to their low weight, you won’t practically feel it on your head. Bluedio T2s Turbine won’t cause any discomfort even during the prolonged use.
The headphones don’t squeeze the head too much. This means that headphones are designed for home use. During running or fast walking, it will fall out. You won’t be tired of them because even if after the prolonged use, your ears won’t sweat.

When we checked the hinges, we made a conclusion that everything is done qualitatively, but still, there was some feeling of stickiness. Of course, everything is much better than on the previous models. This version uses metal mechanisms, which means that the headphones will live longer than their predecessors. It was really a weak point in the design.
Earpads and headband are made of eco-leather. So now it’s common to call it – leatherette. Material to the touch is pleasant, soft, no complaints. On the headband from the outside, Bluedio engraved the word “TURBINE”. They also made the perforation of the inner side, probably for better ventilation. But it looks stylish. The rest of the body is made of plastic.
There are only four color solutions available. You can choose to order white, black, red, and blue which we tested.

Controls

It’s easy to find the control, just put your finger on the right ear cup. There are not too many buttons and it’s good. Literally, in five minutes you’ll get used to it and without removing the headphones, you’ll know where to put a finger.
There are only four buttons. Two volume buttons, the power button and the joystick for switching of the tracks. By using it, you can play, pause and rewind a song.

Battery

If you use Bluedio T2s Turbine every day for several hours you must charge it once a week. When the battery level drops to critical, the female voice says “Battery low”. According to our calculations, the maximum is about 30 hours.
When the battery is too low, it is possible to connect it with a wire, this is not a problem. Although it is far from easy to plant a battery. The manufacturer does not deceive when he writes that the ears work up to 40 hours. Well, or not much deceives.

Sound quality

Now, as for the sound. It certainly Bluedio T2s Turbine is not high-end headphones or even close. But they have a powerful and deep bass. The middle and top are smoother. The overall sound is fairly clear. There are not enough details, but it’s not surprising, this is not the highest class of the device.

We would say if you are not a demanding music fan or an audiophile with experience, you will like the sound. If you listen to music for a long time, where the basses are initially coming out to the first plan, then for a long time you will not have it enough.
The volume is more than decent. At the maximum, they can replace a portable speaker easily.
You can use headphones as a microphone. The built-in microphone provides good communication only in a relaxed environment since it is omnidirectional.

Conclusion

In general, the headphones have all that is really necessary. Lightweight design and good sound quality which is a little stronger than on predecessors. Bluedio T2s Turbine is comfortable to wear with excellent autonomy and simple and intuitive use.
We think that there are many more advantages, so we can safely recommend Bluedio T2s Turbine to buy.
