Master and Dynamic MH40 Over Ear Headphone – Brown

Master and Dynamic MH40 is a newbie to the headphone activity, but it’s come out the gate with a range of remarkably designed models, advancing by its leading MH40, which sells for $399 in the US.

This closed-back, over-the-ear headphone is magnificently designed from made stainless-steel, aluminum and real lambskin leather, and its sound is competitive with that of equally cost designs from recognized manufacturers like, Beyerdynamic, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Sennheiser and Grado. The Master and Dynamic MH40 made and designed in New York over two years and is now it is manufatures in China.

With a weight of 360 grams, it’s definitely bulkier than most over-the-ear headphones. The benefit is the MH40’s construction seems super-solid, and the smooth leather contributes a delicate part to the design. However that while this is a very relaxed headphone, its weightiness may keep you looking to take a hearing crack after Half an hour or an time.

Design & Features

The Master and Dynamic MH40 comes in a number of color choices, such as gunmetal, black, navy/silver, brown and white. The best one is still the vintage brown edition but the black one doesn’t look bad at all. It might not be as eye-catching as the brown leather with metal framework, but you will have a very stylish look instead.

Inside the box, I can see an awesome holding pocket with an eye-catching hold, a small leather-covered situation containing two weaved sound wires, a 3.5mm to 6.3mm men adaptor, and the headphones. The two wires come in different measures, so you should use the smaller one (1.25m) with your cellular phone. The wire also has in-line controls but the quantity musician is appropriate for iOS gadgets only, it doesn’t work with Android operating system mobile phones. The sound wire is removable, so you can connect it into any of the 2 earcups.

Although Master and Dynamic is a new product, they really did a wonderful job with their headphone collection. The design and construction of the MH40 are amazing, it can get up on the same level as headphones from recognized manufacturers like Beyer dynamic, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Sennheiser and Grado. Many individuals also appreciate that Master and Dynamic is using magnificent components for their items. You can see here the made steel body with some aluminum parts and actual lambskin leather protecting the ear pads and headband. The actual leather seems so relaxed and smooth on my skin.

The MH40 looks just perfect in every information. The capable on the outside of the earcups with an emblem in the middle even makes the headphones more fashionable. You might think that these are open-back headphones but they are actually closed-back, so there is no sound dripping out.

Another awesome inclusion is the Silence key on the right earcups. You can represent your own songs with just one media and don’t need to take the headphones out.

One of my greatest problems with the M&D MH30 was the pain during a long songs period. That’s no more time the situation with the Master and Dynamic MH40 since it has an over-ear design, you won’t feel any stress on your hearing at all. These are not the most relaxed over-ear headphones as the place within the earcups is crowded and your hearing might get hot after a while. However, it is very appropriate and I don’t have any problem dressed in the headphones for about a time.

Audio Quality

Surprisingly, the MH40 controls to provide most pleasant sound, especially for millennial. That is a great sound with some increases on the low wavelengths, but the bass is not as frustrating as on other inexpensive headphones. On the other hand, the highs is actually obvious and precise and it doesn’t sound severe even when I turn up the quantity. The mids are well existing and they make the sound a little bit ahead.

However, the sound is not as precise as the Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 which is cost cheaper. The MH40’s sound is a little heated for my flavor. The containers feature the large 45mm Neodymium drivers which are anticipated to provide a wonderful soundstage. The soundstage is actually quite amazing and better than the Sennheiser Strength headphones. Unfortunately, the sound is still protected with the low reactions, besides, the lightweight also reduces possibly the soundstage. Therefore, the soundstage is not really huge and the sound couldn’t give me Goosebumps due to the absence of information in Mids. The sound trademark is correct for individuals paying attention to pop or EDM songs, but not jazz music or traditional songs.
